I first saw this amaryllis in bloom last year. I was attracted to it because the flowers were much larger than most yellow varieties. I would have purchased it, but I had already bought Amaryllis 'Evergreen' to grow and photograph.
This year I was lucky to find the last one for sale at Connon Nurseries in Waterdown.
I will add photos to this page as the flower scape appears and grows. If it blooms true to its name the flowers will be pale yellow with perhaps a touch of pink blush marking.
I think I may try my hand at hybridizing with it.
