Rumour has it that Martha Stewart will be making a special appearance on Saturday, March 20th, at Canada Blooms.

Like the Goddess Persephone, Martha's appearance ushers in spring and is a good omen of a rising economy.

If this is true, it is likely that she will arrive at 11:30 to view the Home Depot Garden Instillation. (The main reason for her visit would be to promote her new product line that will be available at Home Depot. Expect “The Best” patio furniture.)

Perhaps she will also have the time to view some of the other fine exhibits such as the Disney Garden and the Landscape Ontario Display.

I would assume that after lunch, she would be available for a short press conference and a chance to meet the public.

Goodness help anyone who has to follow her on stage.

What a spectacular boon for Canada Blooms. Not foreseeing any problems at Canadian Customs, if it's true, this will be a monumental occasion. For years, people will be talking about the time that Martha Stewart came to Canada Blooms.
